Geography Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team at a reputable school in Manchester. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students, ensuring their active participation and understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching materials that cater to the individual needs of students.
  • Assess student progress and achievements regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status and a degree in geography or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching geography at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive school culture.
