Process Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Development Technologist to join our dynamic New Product Development Team.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the development of new products from concept to launch, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality, safety, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new products, from concept to launch, ensuring that they meet customer category plans and deliver agreed margins.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products are developed to an auditable standard, meeting all quality and safety requirements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.
- Support the launch of new products, including trial runs, launch meetings, and handover to technical and production teams.
- Identify and drive proactive process development initiatives to push production boundaries.
- Support post-launch review and assessment of product quality, solve manufacturing problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Passion for food and a desire to start or continue a career in food manufacturing.
- HACCP/Food Safety Training and basic knowledge.
- Experience working with own label chilled foods and customer relationships.
- Desirable: experience working in fried foods and HND/Degree in food-based/manufacturing subject.

- Communication at different levels of seniority across various teams.
- Presentation skills.
- Identifying solutions.
- Basic computing skills.
