Job Overview

Expleo Group UK Jobs is seeking an experienced Automotive Instrument Cluster Engineer to join our team in Bedfordshire. As an Instrument Cluster Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays, and Displays within the Research and Development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays, and Displays
  • Prepare functional specifications
  • Review and approve part drawings
  • Resolve technical issues with test departments and suppliers
  • Conduct vehicle life cycle cost reduction idea generation and implement
  • Lead vehicle life cycle warranty investigations
  • Prepare and present development status and strategy plans to Senior Management
  • Maintain part BOM

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in a relevant subject matter
  • Experience in the development of Instrument Cluster, Head-Up Displays, or Displays within the automotive industry
  • Familiar with electrical theory related to parts and connected circuits
  • Understanding in software development and validation method
  • Experience of electrical architecture
  • Knowledge of LIN or CAN tools
