Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for planning and executing Model Configuration Management activities, ensuring effective leadership of Configuration Management, and contributing to the development of model-based systems engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute Model Configuration Management activities to ensure effective configuration management of our systems.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and other teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Lead and manage Configuration Management activities to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of model-based systems engineering to improve our systems and processes.
  • Support the development of improved ways of working to enhance our team's productivity and efficiency.
  • Support the Integration Team in their change management activities to ensure smooth transitions.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or significant experience in a related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience using MathWorks toolsets, including MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Experience in a configuration management role and virtual testing environment is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to support interfaces across functional work streams and customers.
