Job Opportunity at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatrician to join our team as a Locum Community Paediatrics Consultant. This is a full-time (10PA) position based on the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital campus.

As part of West London Children's Healthcare (WLCH), we provide a wide range of paediatric subspecialty services and 24-hour resident consultant support for the acute paediatric pathway. Our team is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people across West London through collaboration and building stronger, equitable care pathways.

Main Responsibilities
  • Attend weeks on either the Paediatric Wards or HDU, outpatient clinics, and resident nights covering either the Paediatric Emergency Department or the Paediatric Wards & HDU.
  • Join a team of paediatricians providing a wide range of paediatric subspecialty services.
  • Be actively involved in training, clinical governance, and quality improvement.

We provide services from two main hospitals, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital, and a number of clinics across London and the South-East. Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration.
  • CCT in Paediatrics or equivalent OR eligible for entry on GMC Specialist Register within 6 months.
  • Enhanced DBS Clearance.
  • Good understanding of and adherence to the principles of Good Medical Practice set out by the General Medical Council.
  • MRCPCH or equivalent.
