Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Student Support Professional to join our team at a special school in Newton Abbot. The ideal candidate will inspire and nurture students, both in and out of the classroom, while fostering a nurturing environment that promotes student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire and nurture students across KS2-KS4 in a therapeutic approach to education.
  • Provide focused support in small groups or one-to-one, based on individual needs.
  • Assist classroom teachers to help students engage meaningfully and succeed in their learning.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek someone who is positive, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Experience or knowledge of these needs is highly desirable.
