About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chemotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic and proficient oncology team at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage direct patient care and safely administer Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT)
  • Work closely with other site-specific Clinical Nurse Specialists and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide holistic needs assessments and develop care plans for patients
  • Offer specialist advice and support to patients and their families
  • Promote a culture of respectful relationships and patient involvement in care decisions
  • Evaluate and assess patients' needs and provide appropriate treatment and support
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working at a senior level within cancer services and SACT administration
  • Accredited SACT administration course and competency in the UKONS 24 Hour triage Tool
  • Post-registration course in cancer care and excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
