About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, focusing on evening visits during the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Provide respite care for family members and caregivers
- Deliver specialist care, including dementia care
Requirements
- No formal experience or qualifications required
- Full in-house training provided
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation and a full UK driving licence
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £13 per hour
- Additional £11.44 (pro-rata) for travel time and 30p per mile for fuel
