About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Evening Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, focusing on evening visits during the week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Prepare meals and snacks
  • Provide respite care for family members and caregivers
  • Deliver specialist care, including dementia care

Requirements

  • No formal experience or qualifications required
  • Full in-house training provided
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation and a full UK driving licence

What We Offer

  • A competitive hourly rate of £13 per hour
  • Additional £11.44 (pro-rata) for travel time and 30p per mile for fuel
