About the Role

Montcalm Collection is seeking a skilled and ambitious Assistant Head Housekeeper to oversee the housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our luxury hotel.

The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and manage a team of housekeepers. They will assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping team, overseeing daily operations, and creating and managing the housekeeping staff schedule.

The successful candidate will also participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping team members, conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations, and motivate and mentor the housekeeping team to maintain high levels of service and adherence to standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the housekeeping team
  • Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department
  • Create and manage the housekeeping staff schedule
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new housekeeping team members
  • Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations
  • Motivate and mentor the housekeeping team

Requirements

  • Authorised to live and work in the UK
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team of housekeepers
  • Strong leadership skills and attention to detail
