About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Process Specialist to join our team at Artifex Interior Systems Limited.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and deploy engineering processes and documents.
  • Lead the FMA lifecycle to drive continuous improvement in engineering.
  • Moderate Program FMEA's to ensure quality of events, maturation, and output.

Main Objectives and Results:

  1. Ensure completion of Engineering LL reviews, item capture, and output document generation.
  2. Support foundation F-DFMEA development and continuous improvement.
  3. Implement rollout of DFMEA software (APIS) AIAG/VDA and equip the team with necessary tools and training.
  4. Provide internal audits for IATF 16949 compliance.
  5. Review and make recommendations on deviation requests from Design Rules and Best Practices.
  6. Participate in customer reviews to provide technical governance and consultation.
  7. Network subject matter experts to support application teams.
  8. Develop and maintain Technical Quality Systems & procedures.
  9. Plan and execute internal audits for Engineering documentation integrity.
  10. Participate in and signatory for Design Reviews, Product Reviews, Gateway Reviews.
  11. Evaluate deviations from the standard, assess risk, promote corrective actions, and maintain documented evidence.
  12. Guide technical delivery of APQP/PPAP.
  13. Actively participate in reviews of new Engineering processes/tools impacting quality of technical delivery.
  14. Support identification of cost-effective technical solutions.
  15. Support Current Model team as needed.
  16. Consult on new program RFQ's.
