Production Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at TribePost Ltd. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and carry out 8D/RMA activities to maintain the 8D/RMA process within Engineering
  • Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure quality work is done in a safe and efficient manner
  • Diagnose problems in the production line and provide recommendations to eliminate issues
  • Liaise with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour content
  • Establish safety procedures and protocols that prioritize worker well-being and minimize the carbon footprint
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in engineering and production, and share knowledge with colleagues
  • Identify and document unsafe practices
  • Check drawings, routes, and new BOM items for completeness and production readiness

  • Schedule meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders
  • Analyze all facets of production and make recommendations for improvement
  • Identify and obtain materials and equipment required for the above
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in the engineering field
  • Experience with CAD software and proficiency in MS office
  • Degree or HNC in engineering
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Open-minded attitude towards new ideas
  • Hands-on experience with assembling small and large complex assemblies
