Job Title: Workshop Engineer/ Graduate Engineer Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Engineer/ Graduate Engineer Technician to join our team at Harrington Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repairs on a diverse range of instruments in the workshop.
  • Provide exceptional technical support to customers via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Manage purchase orders, ensure accurate cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of all work conducted.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and high levels of service delivery to customers.
  • Conduct maintenance, functional checks, and repairs on demonstration and loan instruments.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, adhering to established processes and ensuring precise reporting.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electronics or electrical engineering disciplines.
  • Preferred experience in maintaining complex and sensitive equipment.
  • Background in customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
