Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Manager

Job Summary: Centre People Appointments is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Manager to join their team in London. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working at a senior level in a think-tank or research department, with excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, research, and analyse economic and political events and trends within the EU and wider Europe region.
  • Share intelligence regarding economic and political events and trends with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments of Tokyo HQ and other global intelligence teams.
  • Develop and coordinate information networks with external entities such as think-tanks and governmental institutions.
  • Attend external seminars or symposiums to collect information and develop an information network.
  • Visit countries throughout the Europe region to collect information and extend the company's information gathering network.
  • Manage and help to develop the potential of members of staff in Brussels and London.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience working at a senior level in a think-tank or research department.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills.
  • Good level of economic, political, international relations, and business analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Logical and critical thinking skills, budgeting, and/or cost control experience.
  • Business level fluency in both English and Japanese.

Working Arrangements: This is a permanent, full-time position with hybrid working available. The working hours are 9:00-17:00 from Monday to Friday. The salary is £130-180k, depending on experience.
