Logistics Strategist

We are seeking an experienced logistics professional to join our team as a Logistics Strategist.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehousing, excellent collaboration and communication skills, and a flexible can-do attitude.

This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for managing the global logistics function, including optimising and implementing new processes, managing departmental logistics, and identifying opportunities for cost and process improvement.

• Define and evolve the company's future global logistics strategy across multiple UK and EU sites and external partners.
• Manage all departmental logistics ensuring prompt delivery and optimum cost and efficiency, management & coordination of stock control, receipt, and reconciliation activities across multiple warehouse locations.
• Identify & implement logistic cost & process optimisation to ensure continuous improvements whilst remaining full compliance with all necessary regulations.
• Manage the Logistics/W&D budget and KPI reporting for all logistics and inventory activities, ensuring we remain within approved guidelines and identify areas for escalation, cost optimisation and improvement.
• Contract Management of third-party logistics & warehouse providers. Leading BRM meetings and ensuring actions are followed through and closed off in a timely manner.
• Due diligence & integration support for new acquisitions and company projects.

• A competitive salary circa £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
