We are seeking a skilled Military Claims Solicitor to join our team at Ison Harrison Solicitors. As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of military personal injury matters under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years' PQE and preferably experience in military claims. You will be organized and methodical, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Running a case load of client matters under supervision.
  • Dealing with matters at all stages, from taking the client's initial instructions through to archiving, in accordance with office and accounts procedures.
  • Obtaining and preparing file documentation.
  • Billing files and obtaining monies due to the firm from the clients and other parties.
  • Dealing with client enquiries
  • Providing support to other fee earners in the PI department.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Professional and friendly client care.
  • Ability to work accurately in accordance with procedures and processes.
  • Ability to deal with technical details and to express solutions to complex legal problems in a concise and customer-friendly way.
  • Ability to present and argue a case orally and in writing.
  • Good and clear communication to deal with clients and other parties face to face.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Accurate communication to produce clear and accurate letters and legal documents.
  • Confident IT skills
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work, under supervision, to meet clients' expectations and matter deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • A flexible, pro-active and 'can do' attitude.
