Engineering Team Lead Opportunity

We are partnering with a leading manufacturing business to find an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join their team in Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the team to prioritize workload, coaching and developing team members, and implementing predictive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to prioritize workload and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Coach and develop team members to optimize their capabilities.
  • Implement predictive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Recommend changes to PPM tasks to improve continuous process efficiency.
  • Participate in major repair projects and develop reliability techniques and processes to deliver improvements.
  • Ensure 100% compliance of scheduled PPM through the CMMS system.
  • Propose and implement improvements and innovations to enhance the team's performance.

Requirements

  • FMCG industry experience preferred.
  • Educated to ONC level or equivalent preferred.
  • Electrical or Mechanical bias (both positions available).
  • Experience leading a small team.

Salary up to £50K + benefits.

12-hour shifts – 4 on 4 off.
