As a Senior Microarchitecture Specialist at Infineon Technologies, you will play a key role in our Design Architecture and modeling team. Your expertise in hardware IP Microarchitect or Concept Engineer will enable you to take the next step in your career.

In this role, you will translate application requirements into microcontroller system architectures, working with experts from various Infineon teams as well as key customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Translating customer application needs into models or descriptions of our functional building blocks
  • Specifying cross-functional Building Blocks, acting as the technical expert, and developing the concepts for both hardware and software aspects
  • Being the interface between our customers, application engineering and development teams while building cross-functional networks
  • Being the Specification owner, aiming for the best possible compromise between customers and Infineon needs
  • Creating the corresponding technical documentations such as Specification, Functional Safety Analysis and User Manual to provide the requested functional descriptions and documents to guarantee the ISO26262 compliance

You will be best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in Concept/Architecture, IC design/verification or related fields
  • Very good knowledge of state-of-the-art high-scale integrated SoC's based on latest technologies, high performance & low power microcontroller product infrastructure
  • Experience in defining Hardware Specifications and User Manuals
  • Microcontroller and automotive application knowhow are a plus
  • Basic knowledge about safety standards and applications (, ISO26262, ISO21434 and/or FMEDA) is a plus
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
