Join Our Team as a STEM Academic Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate STEM Graduate to join our team as a STEM Academic Mentor. As a STEM Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support students in-class and provide one-to-one tutoring sessions
  2. Deliver small group intervention sessions to students who require additional support
  3. Help students feel prepared for GCSE exams
  4. Work closely with teachers to identify areas where students need extra support

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a STEM Graduate who is considering a career in teaching to gain valuable experience and build their confidence in the classroom.

As a STEM Academic Mentor, you will be working with a high-achieving Secondary School in Sutton, supporting students across Years 7-11. You will be given your own classroom to tutor small groups of students and will work closely with teachers to identify areas where students need extra support.

Requirements:

  • STEM Graduate with a 2:1 or higher degree from a top UK University
  • Passionate about education and inspiring young people to pursue STEM careers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:
