About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join our friendly pharmacy team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and non-routine duties in relation to the preparation and supply of medicines and related products for service users within BCUHB.
• Exercise a degree of autonomy and control in the performance of allocated duties within limits set by the Senior Pharmacy Technician supervising the section and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Liaise with pharmacy staff in all sectors and other healthcare professionals to ensure a patient-oriented medicines management service is provided.
• Work closely with pharmacy colleagues to adopt a team approach to medicines management, acting as a key member of the multidisciplinary and wider pharmacy team, providing medicines management advice to healthcare professionals, patients, and carers.

Requirements

• Good organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
• Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
