Student Wellbeing Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Student Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at Leigh Academy Milestone. This role involves providing targeted support to students with attendance, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing issues.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will collaborate with pastoral staff to deliver behaviour mentoring, liaison with other provisions, and attendance and punctuality support. They will also help create a supportive learning environment that promotes student well-being. Prior experience working directly with young people is required, and full training will be provided.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a permanent position offering an actual salary of £24,339 per annum (£28,297 full time equivalent) based on 37 hours per week, term time + 1 week inset. Benefits include access to the CSSC Sports and Leisure scheme, extensive CPD opportunities, and free 24/7 access to a GP.
