Childcare Team Lead
We are recruiting for a Childcare Team Lead to join Huntress on a permanent basis. This role is based in Brighton and involves working Monday to Thursday, 11am - 6.
The salary for this position is between £25,350 - £29,250 per annum, pro rata (DOE).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Deputy Manager, Play Workers, Bank Staff, and Volunteers.
- Organise meetings and conduct supervision, training, and appraisals with all staff/volunteers.
- Ensure the team understands and meets children's individual needs in accordance with their care plans.
- Build relationships with parents/carers and act as the primary point of contact for all enquiries.
- Support with general administration tasks such as completing daily and annual Risk Assessments and other documentation.
- Implement Environmental Health inspection recommendations and maintain high food hygiene standards.
- Monitor equipment for safety and report to the Community Partnerships Manager for repairs/replacement if required.
- Assist the Operations Manager with other ad hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience of team management in a childcare setting.
- Ideal qualification to Level 3 in Childcare.
This role requires an enhanced DBS check.
