Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Leader to join our team at Bright Horizons Tytherington Nursery. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of early years professionals to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure seamless communication and a positive, happy, and safe environment for all.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies related to child welfare, protection, health, and safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursery policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, or Early Years Educator.
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
