**Key Responsibilities**

  • Lead and manage a team of AV professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our audio visual services.
  • Oversee staff training, development, and performance evaluations to ensure the team is equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment that promotes innovation and excellence.
  • Manage all aspects of the college's AV services, including the loan of specialist equipment, such as cameras, 3D printers, PA/sound equipment, and lighting kits.
  • Oversee the specialist printing services, including 3D and wide format printing, to ensure high-quality output.
  • Coordinate the loan system for home study laptops and other AV equipment to students, ensuring seamless access to resources.
  • Ensure that induction and training resources are available for students loaning equipment, promoting a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Manage the college's digital signage estate, ensuring timely and effective communication with students and staff.
  • Manage the college's digital video system, eStream, to ensure seamless playback and access to video content.
  • Develop and implement new AV spaces, such as Teams rooms, to support collaborative working and enhance the student experience.
  • Plan and set up presentation systems for college events, conferences, staff meetings, and public events, ensuring exceptional audio visual support.
  • Ensure the availability and functionality of sound systems and other AV equipment during events, guaranteeing a professional and engaging experience.
