About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced design engineer to work on complex projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a STEM field, with excellent knowledge of systems engineering processes and practices. You will be responsible for designing new products using Inventor/AutoCAD software and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing new rugged power protection products, both electrical and mechanical, using Inventor/AutoCAD software.
  • Supporting the development of design solutions to agreed time, cost, and quality in accordance with project or business milestones.
  • Supporting the development and management of requirements specific to a system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform or programme.
  • Ensuring design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements management tools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority.
  • Working with the engineering team to improve own levels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise.

Requirements

  • Holding a full UK Driver's License.
  • Having a British or dual passport.
  • Passing DBS & BPSS vetting.
  • Living within a commutable distance from Milton Keynes.

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Possibility of hybrid working, with 2 days per week working from home.
  • 23 days annual holiday.
  • 4.5-day working week.
  • Annual bonus up to 10% of annual salary.
  • Pension Scheme.
