About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Clinical Specialist in Mental Health to join our team at Priory Hospital Lincolnshire. This is a challenging and rewarding role that will provide you with the opportunity to deliver high-quality clinical services to patients.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a holistic and person-centric treatment programme based on the recovery model. You will work closely with the unit's multi-disciplinary team, Resident Medical Officer (RMO) and General Practitioner to ensure that patients receive a comprehensive range of services.
Key Responsibilities
- To deliver a high-quality clinical service to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- To work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
- To participate in regular case discussions and contribute to the development of treatment strategies.
- To provide education and training to junior staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
Requirements
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in mental health, holding a MB.BS or equivalent qualification and GMC registration with a license to practice. The ideal candidate will have experience working in low secure services and be familiar with the principles of the recovery model. In addition, they should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
