Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Groundwork sub-contractor based in Ayrshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to the company's various projects, with a focus on minimizing costs, enhancing margins, and value for money, while achieving the required standards and quality.

• Site Measures and Cost Control
• Preparing and submitting budgets, and monitoring actual performance against agreed budgets
• Supporting the Contracts Managers in respect of project and commercial deliverables

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, demonstrable experience within the construction environment, and strong understanding and practical experience of both pre-contract and post-contract work. IT proficiency with Microsoft Packages, including Microsoft Excel, is also essential.
