Board Governance Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Board Governance Officer to join our team at GO2 People Group Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Directors and Executives, ensuring the smooth operation of our Board and Committee meetings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing all Board, Subsidiary, and Committee meetings, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of reports to the Board, Committees, and ELT;
- Coordinating and implementing additional Board and Committee activities, such as strategy days, workshops, and urgent decisions;
- Leading the planning and resourcing of the annual calendar of Executive-led management meetings and ad-hoc workshops;
- Providing flexible and collaborative support to the team, ensuring all meetings are managed efficiently in the absence of the usual lead contact;
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance, including submissions to the Financial Conduct Authority, preparation and submission of the Annual Board Diversity Return, and management of internally held Governance records and registers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a Governance-related role;
- Experience of working within established guidelines, procedures, and maintaining high standards of confidentiality;
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective minute-taking skills;
- Well-developed communication, relationship management, and customer service skills;
- Relevant qualification (desirable).
This is a fixed-term contract of 15 months, with a start date of 1st November 2024 and an end date of 1st February 2026. The salary is up to £50,000, dependent on experience.
