Your new company is a large and successful housing association, with stock across the North East, seeking a Property Inspector to join their repairs and maintenance function.

As part of the repairs and maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering technical services to all properties, ensuring the housing association meets responsive, planned, cyclical maintenance and property management requirements.

You will be carrying out day-to-day technical inspections, including for damp and mould, before providing reports and suitable resolutions.

Key Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of all elements of building construction, components, building trades, and applicable building regulations.
  • Full trade or professional qualification in a construction-related industry, along with experience within a social housing environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills with tenants and colleagues.
