Job Description

A highly rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Learning Disability Nurse to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role:

  • To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, addressing the health, psychological, emotional, and behavioral needs of adults with learning disabilities.
  • To provide assessment, advice, and support to clients, carers, and other professionals, promoting independence and empowering individuals to take control of their lives.
  • To deliver training and education to staff, promoting best practice and improving the quality of care delivered.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (RNMH or RNLD).
  • Trained Clinical Supervisor within 6-month probationary period.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
