About the Role

Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Housing Law Solicitor to join their team. As a key member of the Housing Department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and representation to clients on all aspects of housing law.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members on housing law matters
  • Manage a caseload of housing cases, including public and private housing disputes
  • Assist with casework, including preparing cases and attending clients
  • Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews
  • Ensure compliance with file management
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Practising Certificate
  • Proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to deal with vulnerabilities
  • Excellent networking and communication skills
  • Ability to use own initiative and sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded housing work and ability to service privately funded cases
