About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Coding and Data Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patients with long-term conditions are regularly reviewed by the medical team.

You will be working with TPP SystmOne software and will require competence with Microsoft Word and Excel. This is a part-time post of approximately 20 hours a week, but we have flexibility to offer slightly more or less working hours if that is our chosen candidate's preference.

The main duties of the job include:

  • Ensuring patients with long-term conditions are regularly reviewed by the medical team - running reports to see who is due for a review, arranging appointment schedules and sending letters and messages to invite patients to book these appointments.">
  • A variety of administrative tasks which require competence with Microsoft Word and Excel.">

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Coding and Data Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

">
  • Using TPP SystmOne for reporting, recalling and contacting patients and to provide data to other members of the Practice.">
  • Using Microsoft Excel to analyse information.">
  • Producing letters and letter templates.">
  • Setting up appointment rotas to ensure the correct use of clinical time.">
  • Setting up data entry templates.">
  • Monitoring uptake of services.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • GCSE grade A-C in English Language and Maths (or equivalent).">
  • Qualification in Health & Social Care.">
  • Qualification in Customer Service.">
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service.">
  • Experience of using Microsoft Word & Excel.">
  • Experience of working in a GP Practice or Hospital.">
  • Experience of using TPP SystmOne.">
  • Experience of project management.">

Working Hours and Location

">

This is a part-time post of approximately 20 hours a week, but we have flexibility to offer slightly more or less working hours if that is our chosen candidate's preference. There will be a fixed working pattern agreed between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday - Friday.

Salary

We are offering a competitive salary of £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
