Job Description:

As a Class 1 Driver Nights, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries and collections are loaded correctly at temperature and secure before leaving depots. You will also be responsible for partaking in pre and debrief processes, ensuring that the traffic office is appraised of any required information regarding delays or accidents/incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all deliveries/collections are loaded correctly at temperature and secure before leaving depots.
  2. Partake in pre & debrief process ensuring traffic office is appraised of any required info regarding delays or accidents/incidents.
  3. Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner respecting other road users and protecting the reputation of the company.
  4. Ensure safe delivery & collection of goods minimizing risk to self, colleagues & public by following company processes.
  5. Observe Company rules, procedures, and policies at all times.
  6. Ensure that the work environment – units and trailers - are kept in a clean and tidy condition at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Valid HGV Class C + E license.
  2. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights.
  3. Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
  4. Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
