About the Role
The Graham Rose company is seeking a highly skilled M&E Clerk Of Works in London to oversee Electrical and Mechanical works, including Renewable Technologies. This is a challenging role that requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Salary and Benefits

Job Description
The primary purpose of this role is to act as an impartial inspector of M&E works such as Heat Networks, PV (Solar), MVHR, Door Entry Systems, Sprinklers, Dry Risers, and District Heating. Your duties will include:
• Ensuring work is carried out to high standards, specification, and schedule.
• Verifying correct materials are used and workmanship is of high quality.
• Reviewing M&E contract documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.
• Inspecting construction works for compliance with contract documentation, contract instructions, and good practice.
• Advising on practical implications of implementing designs and drawing attention to areas for improvement.
• Taking measurements and samples on site to ensure work meets specifications and quality standards.
• Identifying specialist testing required and witnessing progress while ensuring notes are taken and findings reported back to project managers.
• Inspecting construction works for compliance with statutory regulations, e.g., Heating, Electrical, Renewable Energy, and Plumbing.
• Keeping records of conditions and progress on site, ensuring these are comprehensive and well-structured to assist with contract administration.
