Reed - Further Education is seeking a Science Lecturer to teach Access to HE Science to post 16 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching resources for identified modules.
  • Plan and prepare schemes of work, session plans, and learning resources to meet the needs of students.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching sessions across the curriculum using a range of teaching methods.
  • Carry out internal verification duties in line with quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualification (e.g. AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education)
  • Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in education or apprentice setting
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
