Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled ACCA Financial Analyst to join our Finance team at Gerrell & Hard Ltd. as a Business Partner for our Manufacturing Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the Operations function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and driving business improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Cost Estimating and Tracking: Develop and maintain accurate product cost models, track and analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost reduction initiatives.
- Inventory Reconciliation and Analysis: Conduct regular inventory reconciliations, analyze inventory levels and trends, and provide insights to improve inventory management.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate with Operations leaders to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements, and develop and implement solutions to drive business growth.
- Overhead Cost Performance Review: Analyze and review overhead cost performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to reduce costs.
- Investment Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for new product investments and significant capital projects.
- Cost Allocations and Transfer Pricing: Develop and maintain accurate cost allocation models, and ensure compliance with intra-group transfer pricing regulations.
- Month-End Processes and Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end processes, and provide financial reporting and analysis to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Essential:
- Strong data analysis and presentational skills.
- Ability to interact cross-functionally and build strong working relationships with Operational leaders.
- Preferable:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing organization.
- 1-3 years' experience in a management/cost accounting role.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
Personal Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work independently, identify and prioritize areas for focus and improvement, and take responsibility for issues and strive to solve problems at their own level wherever possible.
