Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at AndRecruit Engineering Careers. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for working from drawings, process sheets, and sketches to perform production tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CNC programs for machining operations
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production processes
• Collaborate with engineers to design and develop new products
• Perform quality control checks on machined parts
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds in a relevant subject
• Apprenticeship time served, Mechanical Engineering on Toolmaking
• Experience in CNC machining and conventional machines
• Experience in CNC programming/operation preferably with Fanuc control
• Ability to work to BS8888 drawing standards and other associated BS standards
• Practical approach to problem solving
• Ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings, high attention to detail
• Ability to use CAD/CAM and also edit/modify programmes
