Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Brownlee Cale. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commissioning activities, ensuring work is undertaken safely and efficiently in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing all commissioning activities, including ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all commissioning activities from design through to scheme final completion.
  2. Reporting commissioning/process/closeout activities and progress to the Area MEICA Manager.
  3. Monitoring testing & commissioning budget.
  4. Carrying out Commissioning Engineers R&R's and delivering schemes in a safe compliant manner.
  5. Reviewing and monitoring of MEICA related Project risks.
  6. Reviewing and monitoring of Services & Other Things to be Provided by the Employer.
  7. Attending commissioning systems inductions and toolbox talks.
  8. Liaising with Design Coordinator to ensure plant commissioning requirements are incorporated at design stage and included in appropriate scope of works.
  9. Reviewing design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements.
  10. Reviewing and developing Compliance & Commissioning Plans in conjunction with design intent.
  11. Overseeing and signing off FAT and SAT, and process witness tests.
  12. Assisting in the development of initial Commissioning Programme.
  13. Attending Progress & Commissioning Meetings.
  14. Compiling commissioning documentation and deliverables.
  15. Providing input into Commissioning Strategy Reviews and Documentation.
  16. Liaising with sub-contractors regarding commissioning deliverables and interfaces.
  17. Assisting Training Coordinators in compilation of training deliverables and engaging in SW Training sessions.
  18. Assisting O&M Coordinators in compilation and review of O&M Manuals.
  19. Distributing Commissioning Log / Daily Diary's and any other information from Engineers.
  20. Assisting in the preparation of take over reports.
  21. Liaising with the complete scheme delivery team.
Requirements:
  1. CSCS Card.
  2. Fully calibrated testing equipment - Calibration certificates will be required.
  3. Previous water or utilities experience.
Working Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri
Working Hours: 08:00 - 18:00
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day rate - Options for LTD or Umbrella PAYE.
