Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled HGV driver to join our team in Leicester. As a rear steer truck driver, you will be responsible for driving a crew of people around on their bin lorry runs. This role involves driving a refuse truck, which requires a high level of skill and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a rear steer refuse truck safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all routes are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Load and unload waste materials as required
  • Meet all relevant health and safety regulations
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and crew members

Requirements:

  • HGV Class 2 licence
  • Digi Card and CPC Card
  • Previous rear steer/refuse truck driving experience
  • Good knowledge of the local area

What We Offer:

  • Ongoing work available
  • Monday to Friday work schedule
  • Shifts start at 06:30 and last around 8 hours
  • Minimum guaranteed pay of 7.5 hours
  • Impressive hourly rate of £13.96
