About the Opportunity:
Take over this stunning village pub in West Sussex and drive its continued success. With a strong reputation for food and a loyal customer base, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced publican to put their own stamp on the business.

The pub benefits from being one of two pubs in an affluent area with a large proportion of families and retirees. The site has a strong reputation for food and offers a range of popular beers, ciders, wines, and spirits, as well as a pub classic menu and coffees.

We are looking for someone who can create a memorable experience for customers through their marketing strategy, entertainment offer, and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a clear vision for the food and drinks menu, marketing strategy, and entertainment offer
• Drive trade through a well-thought-out 50/50 food and drinks offer
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the pub, including staff management and customer service

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in running a village pub or similar establishment
• A proven track record of driving trade through a well-thought-out 50/50 food and drinks offer
• Excellent leadership and staff management skills
• Strong marketing and promotional skills

Financial Package:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum, as well as a generous profit share scheme and comprehensive training and support.

Trading Area & Facilities:
The pub has a main trading area with bar, 90 internal covers, 50 external covers, a large catering kitchen, SmartDispense, and a large garden space. The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, kitchen, living room, and bathroom.
