Metalwork Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker/Plater to join our workshop team at Galaxy Personnel's Thetford, Norfolk facility. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for cutting and shaping sheet metal into specific sizes and shapes according to customer specifications.

You will install sheet metal components such as ducts, vents, and gutters in the correct locations, bending, joining, and fastening sheet metal pieces together using specialized tools and equipment. Measuring and marking sheet metal for accuracy and precision in fabrication and installation is also a critical aspect of this role.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar position and be a time served engineer with the ability to use various practices to construct and complete customer specifications. You will have a strong understanding of engineering practices and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

The salary for this role is £17.50-£20.00 per hour, making it an attractive opportunity for skilled professionals looking to advance their careers in the industry.
