As a Sales Assistant with The Entertainer at Tesco, you will be responsible for delivering a great shopping experience for our customers. Your key responsibilities will include merchandising stock, handling deliveries, replenishing stock, and price management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Merchandising, handling deliveries, and replenishing stock
  • Start of shift bay checks for pricing, stock gaps, and recovering general standards
  • Replenishment of section, maintaining cleanliness, and good organisation
  • Maintaining good communication with your colleagues and Line Manager
  • Acknowledging customers in the aisles, making conversation, and encouraging a sale using your knowledge of our products

Flexible Opportunities

  • Contract hours available - 12 hours per week
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between the hours of 8am and 7pm
  • Shift patterns and days will vary but will be notified in advance
  • Overtime may be available

Requirements

  • Be reliable and dependable - always on time for your shifts
  • Be practical and flexible - work independently to unload deliveries and adapt to shift patterns and overtime
  • Be enthusiastic and self-assured - comfortable approaching and talking to management
  • Be tech savvy and responsible - use company property as intended and maintain good communication
  • Be open and honest - report issues promptly and maintain good communication with your Line Manager and colleagues
  • Be confident and decisive - communicate clearly and respond quickly and positively to changes
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable - acknowledge and engage with customers using your knowledge of our products
