Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services at the lowest overall costs while meeting project delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in monitoring and planning UK stock levels
  • Raise and monitor purchase orders
  • Collate technical documentation
  • Manage the company's pricing matrix
  • Create and manage the internal cost calculator
  • Handle SADs and other import/export requirements
  • Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Liaise with the supply chain team

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a purchasing role
  • Highly organized and extremely attentive to detail
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial and commercial awareness
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
