About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Merchandiser to join our dynamic Field Sales team at McCormick & Company. As a Sales Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with major supermarket retailers, ensuring excellent execution and availability of our products on store shelves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Manage Store Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at major supermarkets, including Tesco, ASDA, and Morrisons.
  • Utilize Technology: Leverage our technology platform to maintain accurate availability and execution records, ensuring seamless delivery of our products to stores.
  • Stock Management: Collect and deliver stock to stores daily, ensuring 100% availability of our products on store shelves and compliance with store plans.
  • Store Record Management: Take full responsibility for maintaining accurate store records, including inventory management.
  • Support Other Brands: Provide support to other brands within the McCormick family as required.
Requirements
  • Full UK Driving License: Possess a valid full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK.
  • Fluent English: Be fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with store personnel.
  • Self-Motivation and Time Management: Demonstrate strong self-motivation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Positive Attitude and Relationship Building: Possess a positive attitude and excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build strong relationships with store personnel.
  • Physical Demands: Be comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including regular travel and manual handling of stock.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in merchandising, retail, or hospitality is highly desirable.
