Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance programmes and schedules, recommending improvements where appropriate to ensure efficiency is maximised. You will also carry out fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned maintenance programmes and schedules, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and repair breakdowns promptly to reduce downtime.
  • Analyse line efficiency, wastage, and downtime data to identify areas for performance improvement.
  • Identify faulty equipment by consulting manufacturer's manuals and reading detailed mechanical exploded drawings to source and order replacement parts.
  • Implement Continuous Improvements to drive better performance.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognised Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of maintenance systems and processes.
  • Ideal experience with PLCs and knowledge of robotics.
  • Good decision-making skills, confident, and approachable.
