We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team in the Outpatient Department at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity for staff to work within Outpatients, including the Elective Treatment Centre, to enhance their knowledge and develop their skills with excellent training opportunities.
Outpatient clinics cover a wide range of specialties, making this a varied and interesting role. Outpatients at East Cheshire covers 5 sites across the Trust, and some out-of-hours work is needed as services require, so flexibility is essential.
Main Responsibilities- Responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care within the Outpatient Department.
- Take charge of the department in the absence of senior staff.
- NMC registration.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Degree.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Awareness of political influences on healthcare.
- Awareness of relevant issues in the Trust.
- Extended clinical skills.
- Teaching experience.
