About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our team at Tiger Resourcing Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software programs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and test software programs using C++.
  • System Analysis: Analyze and contribute to system and subsystem requirements specifications and design definitions.
  • Problem Solving: Provide support of products from conception through to product delivery, including problem solving and defect maintenance.
  • Documentation: Prepare reports, manuals, procedures, and status reports.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide training and guidance to other team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience or combination of both.
  • Experience: Experience in software engineering with a proven track record of specification, design, and development.
  • Skills: Demonstrable experience of defining test plans and test data requirements, effective problem-solving skills, experience in troubleshooting and debugging applications, experience of object-oriented design and implementation, and experience of software best practices.
  • Tools and Technologies: Proficient in Modern C++ (minimum 11, ideally 14 and later), experience in developing multi-threaded applications, experience of debugging on target hardware, and experience in platform development and a good understanding of Linux.
