Leading Cost Engineer for Offshore Wind Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our dynamic Cost Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting large-scale Offshore Wind projects.
About the RoleIn this exciting position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective cost management system for our Mona and Morgan offshore wind farm projects. You will lead the development of processes, procedures, systems, and tools in support of the cost management system.
Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality cost forecasts for allocated workstreams and related monthly cost forecasting and reporting requirements. You will also provide project leaders and stakeholders with insightful cost-related information to facilitate decision-making processes.
You will ensure cost discipline integration with other key project processes, such as Planning, Risk Management, and Management of Change. Additionally, you will be accountable for ensuring that our Cost Tool includes the latest budget, commitments, actuals, accruals, AWP&B updates, and trends.
You will collaborate closely with workstream leaders, work package managers, and contractors to review and challenge costs, promoting simplification and efficient working practices. Your expertise will also be utilized in reviewing ITT and bids, updating Capex estimates, and providing timely assessments of VOWD, ensuring compliance with project WBS and budgets.
