Biodiversity Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Biodiversity Specialist to join Penguin Recruitment Ltd's consultancy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality biodiversity net gain metrics and protected species surveys.

This role involves working closely with our clients to identify and mitigate potential environmental impacts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality biodiversity net gain metrics.
  • Conduct protected species surveys on various sites across the UK.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

  • Experience of the whole biodiversity net gain process.
  • Protected Species Survey experience across a variety of sites and species.
  • Report writing for Ecological Consultancy.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) membership.

A competitive salary of £32,000-£42,000 per annum, 25 days' holiday, wellbeing support, and CPD opportunities are offered to the successful candidate.
