EACD National Coordinators is a leading international not-for-profit association committed to advancing research and education for individuals with childhood-onset disabilities across Europe and beyond.

Job Description:
We are seeking an exceptional Disability Communication Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our Communications Committee, you will be responsible for informing and updating the membership on the ongoing activities and events of EACD, communicating research findings relevant to our mission, and fostering cooperation and communication between people with an interest in childhood-onset disabilities in Europe and beyond. You will also be expected to build a community of EACD members, enhance the profile of EACD as an organization, and support the other members of the Communications Committee with any tasks and/or decisions as requested.

Responsibilities:
* Inform and update the membership on the ongoing activities and events of EACD.
* Communicate and disseminate research findings relevant to the mission of EACD across Europe and beyond, and facilitate the communication of research findings to clinical practice in an easily accessible way where appropriate.
* Foster cooperation and communication between people with an interest in childhood-onset disabilities in Europe and beyond.
* Build a community of EACD members and enhance the profile of EACD as an organization by using a range of communication channels.
* Support the other members of the Communications Committee with any tasks and/or decisions as requested.
* Present, at the request of the GMC, during a GMC meeting and/or AGM meeting, an update on EACD's Communication Strategy.
