Job Purpose

The Project Product Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of assigned space power projects. This role will work closely with a dedicated team to produce documentation and hardware for delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and track Product Assurance requirements on assigned projects.
  • Work with the project team to produce documentation and hardware for delivery to customers.
  • Act as the primary Product Assurance representative to customers for assigned projects.
  • Support the Sales/BD team with Product Assurance requirements for new opportunities.
  • Deliver documentation to meet customer Product Assurance requirements.
  • Provide specialist Product Assurance analysis and documentation.
  • Chair internal readiness review meetings.
  • Conduct in-build and in-test inspections and sign-off associated reports or checkpoints.
  • Ensure safety certification and compliance statements for products.
  • Define the product baseline for review and input from the project team.
  • Track and log changes to the product baseline.
  • Notify customers of baseline changes.
Requirements
  • A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent qualification or industry experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience delivering Product Assurance engineering on spacecraft projects.
  • Experience inspecting and accepting spacecraft hardware.
  • Experience producing technical Product Assurance documentation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of European Space Industry standards.
  • Ability to interpret European Space Industry standards and develop compliant solutions.
